Ragi flour also known as finger millet is mostly grown and consumed in Karnataka. Ragi flour is used to make a variety of dishes in Karnataka. Ragi flour is cooked with water and then rolled in to balls to make "ragi mudde". It is also used to make poridge/ambli in kannada. Rotis are also made of ragi and served with side dishes.
